Question:

1. For area camera, does it support digital I/O and rs232?

2. For line scan camera, does it support encoder?

Answer:

- For area scan camera, it only supports digital IO. There are 1 isolated input, 1 isolated output and 2 GPIO (General purpose input/output) available.

- There are 2 types of line scan camera - GigE line scan and Camera Link line scan camera.

For both GigE and CameraLink line scan camera, it supports digital IO signal and encoder signal. But for CameraLink camera, every signal must go through a frame grabber (CameraLink card) in order to control the camera.
