Question:

Device link throughput limit:
- Does it actually slow down the transmission speed between the camera
and card?
- i.e. does it use a slower frequency for transmission?
- Will lowering this value make the cable connection more robust? Less
susceptible to grab error?

Answer:

- Reducing the throughput limit will reduce the frame rate of the camera (lesser data will be transferred to the PC)
- Useful when the hardwares, PC or the USB chipset has limited bandwidth available or the available bandwidth is shared between multiple cameras
- User can limit the performance of each camera and keep the bandwidth within the limit and avoid dropped frames
-No effect on the cable robustness
