By default in Windows 7, Windows itself will limit the maximum number of filter drivers to be installed to 8 filter drivers. Those drivers might installed from another software used on your system.
These are the filter drivers needed for Basler camera used.
-Gige performance driver
-Gige filter driver
-USB camera driver
-Firewire camera driver
-Firewire bus driver
Solution:
- Increase the maximum number of the filter driver.
- Increase the maximum filter count in the Windows registry at the following key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Network\MaxNumFilters
- Run >> Regedit to edit the maximum filter on registry.
- Reboots and reinstall the pylon viewer, it should work now.
